Websites & digital presence

People should be able to tell what you do, trust that the business is real, and find a way to ask. We design and look after that presence without turning it into a technology project.

The problem

An outdated site, a page that is awkward on a phone, or contact details that are hard to find all cost enquiries. So does a name, address or service list that is written differently in every place a customer might look.

What you receive

  • A new website, or a refresh of the one you have, written around your services
  • A layout that is comfortable on a phone and on a larger screen
  • Domain and hosting arrangements, and a plain explanation of what you are paying for
  • Maintenance for a site we look after: updates, routine fixes, and a named way to ask for changes
  • A consistent look for the name, colours and simple logo use on the site and in your email
  • Help with local visibility: the same business details in the obvious listings, and pages that say what you actually offer
  • A Digital MOT when you want a check before a rebuild
  • An enquiry path, and a booking request where your existing tools can support it

How the work usually breaks down

Design and refresh

We start from the jobs the site needs to do: explain the work, show how to get in touch, and answer the questions customers already ask.

Domain, hosting and maintenance

We can arrange the domain and hosting, and keep a site we have built up to date. What is included in that upkeep is written down for the job. It is not an open-ended promise.

Digital MOT

A practical check of the site you already have: phone use, contact details, the enquiry path, and whether your name, services and location match in the obvious places. You receive notes and a list of sensible fixes. It is not a certificate.

Being found locally

We tidy the basics that help nearby customers recognise you: consistent details, clear page wording, and sensible headings. Search results depend on more than a website. We do not promise a ranking.

Good to know

  • A booking journey is scoped to the tools you already use. We will not promise that every diary or payment system can be connected.
  • Branding here means a consistent, usable identity for the website and email. A wider brand project would be agreed separately.
  • We do not promise that a website is immune to attack. We do keep the sites we look after updated, and we say what that maintenance covers.
